Trading Up

I took the boys to Gamestop today and they traded in all their Gamecubes, controllers, games, Nintendo DS, Nintendo Advance, carrying cases, cables, etc., etc. They both wanted to go back to the Playstation 2 system that we had few years ago. I was a little worried that I might have to make up the large difference between what they needed and what they got. But every once in a while, something happens that restores my faith in the consumer world. They got $250.00 in store credit for their stuff! They were able to buy the new gaming system, a few accessories and two games and they still had over a hundred dollars in credit left. For the next few days they will be playing a lot of MLB the Show and Cabela’s Hunting. Once they master those, we can go down and get some more. Summer is nearing it’s end, and I think we have found our gap stop measure!
